Detroit -- It's hard to believe now, following your 2014 season His had, but there was clearly actually some questions during the spring about whether Anthony Cueto would be durable enough to obtain through the year healthy for your Reds.

That's because Cueto was restricted to only 11 starts with 2013 because of three different stints on the disabled list using a strained right lat muscle. This season, all such issues were put in the past in stunning style, as the Detroit ace turned in one of the best seasons in franchise historical past. Perhaps that was why voters ended up to give Cueto NFL.com's Greatness in American football Yearly (GIBBY) Award intended for Bounceback Player of the Year.

He has modified well to Double-A after moving up from Class A Sophisticated Myrtle Beach in June. In 50 games with Frisco, Gallo can be hitting .258/.343/.565 with 16 household runs.

Gallo was joined within Frisco this week by catcher Jorge Alfaro and outfielder Nomar Mazara, among his former Myrtle Beach teammates. Alfaro, this Detroit' No. 2 prospect, which ranks at No. 3 on the Top 100, hit .261/.318/.440 within 100 games for the Pelicans along with homered in his second game with all the RoughRiders. Mazara, the Detroit' No. 10 possibility, hit .264/.358/.470 with 19 house runs in 106 games along with Myrtle Beach.

The Rockies selected Gray together with the third overall pick of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft along with, after a successful professional very first, began him this season having Tulsa. The 22-year old has regularity well this season and makes its way into Friday's game 9-5 with a 3.78 ERA. Gray has arranged out 102 batters and walked 34 in 112 innings.
